Despite several signs that the nation is finally wizening up on medical marijuana, the trigger happy federal government seems to be stuck in the propaganda era of 'Reefer Madness' as they continue to crackdown on medical marijuana caregivers. In the latest round of scare tactics and waste of tax payer dollars, six Southern California medical marijuana dispensary operators were arrested by federal authorities on Thursday. 

Those arrested were associated with G3 Holistic Inc, which operates three medical marijuana dispensaries in the Inland Empire area of Southern California. Aaron Sandusky, Keith Sandusky, Paul Brownbridge, Richard Kirchnavy, John Leslie Nuckolls II, and Brandon Gustafson were charged with conspiracy to manufacture and possess marijuana and maintaining a drug-involved premises, among other drug-related charges.

These crackdowns seem to be benefitting no one but south-of-the-border drug cartels, as drug smuggling operations from Mexico have risen since federal agents began cracking down on legal, safe, and tested medical marijuana in October of 2011.
